What Was on the Radio in 1939

What Was Happening in 1939

What was done

1. New Speaker
2. New audio output transformer
3. Built battery board.
4. Corrected "creative wiring".
5. Built cam to operated On/Off indicator flag.

These are the labels from inside the cabinet.

Inside photo - as purchased.
Note missing speaker/output transformer and, of course, the batteries.

Here is my idea for a battery replacement.
It slides into the slots visable next to the chassis
Works great, don't know how long they will last.
